TASK

The Deichmann Group, Europe's leading shoe retailer, needed a supplier portal for suppliers of non-commercial goods. The aim was for suppliers be able to view the company’s current tenders, apply directly online for tenders and/or register as a supplier via the portal.

After successful implementation of the supplier portal into the existing IT architecture, the Deichmann Group is now able to handle communication with suppliers in a much more targeted and efficient manner, making it more effective and reducing costs.

Integra Content Management

In order to become a supplier, potential suppliers must provide Deichmann’s procurement department with comprehensive information and meet certain requirements. The procurement team can put this information online independently via CMS.
Suppliers of non-commercial goods can view this information at https://procurement.deichmann.com and register as a supplier.
This standardizes the process of contacting a supplier and avoids uncontrollable calls from suppliers.
The TYPO3 content management system was used and adapted to the given requirements.
Further functionalities are available in portal’s protected area. These include the opportunity to request materials from Deichmann for the purpose of calculating quotes.
Suppliers are required to update their master data independently via the portal.

Integra Integration Service

Registration and login for the tenders are exchanged and evaluated via interfaces with the Trade Core® SRM procurement solution on-demand from ONVENTIS (the supplier relationship management system that is used).
Suppliers can maintain their master data independently via the portal. The information is then forwarded to internal systems.
