TASK

GoodMills Deutschland (formerly VK Mühlen AG) required a central product information management system (PIM) to manage its master data. It was necessary for the system to support global procurement of products (raw materials, packaging) as well as to ensure product quality (updating of specifications, rapid compliance with new legal requirements).

IMPLEMENTATION

  • Integration of Integra PIM into the existing IT architecture
  • Integration of a merchandise management system
  • Integration of suppliers (via supplier self service)

RESULT

With Integra PIM, GoodMills Deutschland now operates more effectively and successfully than ever before. Thanks to the new system’s fantastic usability, the procurement department can now send its global tenders at the push of a button. Data quality has also increased enormously: it is easy to manage complex descriptions of packaging and suppliers now always have precise, up-to-date information on which products/services they must have in stock or can offer at any point in time.
